Mountain Coaster Experiences

What’s the difference between Silver Dollar City and Mountain Coasters?
Silver Dollar City roller coasters are traditional amusement park rides with steel or wooden tracks, offering a thrilling and dynamic experience with loops, drops, and inversions.
But Silver Dollar City has so much more to offer than just amusement rides, there are so many shops and other attractions that you can literally spend a full day and not quite see and do it all!
Mountain coasters are typically single-rail tracks built into the natural terrain of a mountain, allowing riders to have more control over their speed as they navigate twists and turns.

Basically in a nutshell, mountain coasters are one ride that you pay to ride.
It goes through the trees and winds its way down the mountain and then a pulley will pull you back to the top (or vise versa)
Alpine slides are non-motorized, toboggan-like rides on tracks, where riders use a hand brake (braking system) to control their own speed as they go down, providing the opportunity to go at a slower pace compared to roller coasters.

My daughter and I rode together down the coaster, she was pretty nervous and I had to slow down so she could enjoy the ride.
Slowing down was easy with the hand brake!
