This small town has one of the largest festivals in Indiana with a large attraction of 80,000 people.

It’s home to Indiana’s largest 7-foot!
But that is not all, this 4-day event offers a lot of fun activities, besides sitting down and eating a piece of that 7-foot apple pie!
It includes carnival rides, food vendors, and lots of shopping as they have over 140 craft booths.
It also includes live music all day, a 5k run/walk, car show, cornhole tournament, kids activities, beer garden, tractor show, parade and so much more that I cannot even being to describe this 4-day event!

Bloomfield Apple Festival
Town: Bloomfield Indiana | Population: 2,000 | Southwestern Indiana
The first Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in October, Bloomfield Indiana comes alive with their apple festival.
I love festivals that do something unique! This festival has a Pet Parade that is Sponsored by the 4-H Dog Club!
There is also a lot going on throughout these three days including a carnival, parade, 5K walk/run, car show, art and photography show, wiffle ball tournament, & baking show.

The Apple Butter Festival
Town: Spencer, Indiana | Population: 2,000 | Southwestern Indiana
If you are a lover of apple butter, this may be the festival for you!
30 minutes south of Bloomfield, you’ll find another amazing town of just over 2,000 people. It’s the town of Spencer where the Spencer Lions Club hosts the annual Apple Butter Festival the third weekend in September.
It is a 2-day event that is packed with fun for kids such as inflatables, a free movie, a basketball fun zone, and more. There is also parade, a demolition derby, apple butter challenge, and more!

Kendallville Apple Festival
Town: Kendallville | Population: 10,000 | Northwest Indiana
This 2 day Apple Festival, with its family-friendly atmosphere, is a blast from the past as its mission is to “Entertain and Educate visitors about our American Heritage.”
You’ll see how it’s done with the activities offered. The stage is set and Quartets, Bluegrass singers, and Cloggers take turns on stage throughout these two days.
You’ll be able to spend your time doing a lot of shopping as there is 100 antique dealers and craft vendors. There is also food booths, demonstration buildings, and vendors showing things such as sheep shearing, weaving, spinning, and quilting.
This festival brings in over 70,000 people during these two days.
There is even a large children’s area that has things such as face painting, pony rides, straw maze, and crafts.

Heartland Apple Festival at Beasley’s Orchard

This great festival knows how to party – kids style. There’s a lot of fun for all in the two weekends this apple festival goes on!
From apple cannons to hayrides in the pumpkin patch, it is a good time for everyone!
